Location and staff. All was great.
It deserves its 5 stars. Just a walk down to Pasta Divina, where you can have lunch. Having a hair dryer, a separate shower and complimentary toiletries was a bonus.
i could easily get to cathedral of st michael and st gudula because it was only 1 km away. the room had a great balcony.
Everything was just fine, good location, nice staff, good service, rooms comfortable decent size with good quality linen etc. I would say just about vaue for money.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast. Good location - 1 minute walk to Grand place and metro.
Rooms are not very spacious, overpriced breakfast at 30 euro, no slippers in the rooms, although 5 stars.. Bad sound isolation from neighbor rooms
The room was fairly standard size but was very nicely presented and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is just a couple of minutes walk from the Grand Place and a few minutes in the other direction to the Cathedral so very convenient. The facilities in the room were fine and the TV had several channels in different languages which would be useful if required.
We cannot comment on the breakfast as €29 per person seemed far too expensive. There were plenty of small cafes / snack bars within a few minutes walk where you could pick up something more local and reasonably priced.
worst hotel i have stayed in the past 20 years
nothing was even close to beong good service comfort cleansiness
Good downtown location.
I asked for a quiet room but I was woken in the early hours by revellers in the restaurant street outside. Also a small bottle of white wine from the mini bar cost eur20!
The excellent location, very good breakfast, everythnig ok
Location was ideal for tourism - rooms were clean and hotel was well kept
Didn't quite find the hotel luxurious as compared to other Brussels hotels, the heating system would not turn off and had to sleep with the window open, the street behind the hotel is too noisy all hours of the night
Hotel is very well located in the city center - ideal for tourists.
Just couple of things spoiled whole Brussels experience: 1 - Discovered there were no towels in bathroom right after taking a shower, 2 - Late evening food from room service was foxy - a complete shame for a 4 star hotel.
The rooms I booked were 90 eur per night. I did not get a "5 star" room, but a very good room for the price paid, situated right in the heart of the action :-) Be careful about including buffet breakfast, it's around 30 eur, really not worth it as you have so many choices just around the corner.
The Air Con did not work, hairs in the bed dirty smelly carpets in room and corrridor. We had to be moved at 1am in the morning
Very good location and the staffs were very polite
Hotel is in a superb location. at the centre of the historic part of the city. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was pleasant and quite well appointed.Lots of restaurants and bars nearby.I parked beneath the hotel which was dearer than nearby car parks (25 euro per 24hrs, local rate is about 15 euro per 24hrs) however it was perhaps safer than a public car park. Two pass cards supplied (which is useful).A good hotel, with good facilities.Would stay again.
Not able to access hotel from car park via lift (you can go down, but not up) so cases needed unloading before parking car.Not a problem, just seems a little odd.In fairness they will obviously take cases up to room etc.Room specified 'tea and coffee making facilities', but not supplied.
1-Room was almost big but quite dark(small windows).Total situation of the room somewhat depressing. 2-Difficult to find the hotel in city center by car even with GPS. 3-Breakfast not good at all and does not worth even half of the 30 euro standard price per person. I had choosed the best room offered on line and what I got did not meet my expection. I still will stay faitful to Booked.net of course.
